Day 48: Cornhole

Comms went in at 9:30 a.m. so we got to sleep in and get some work done before we went to lunch. We went to lunch at the Flagstop Cafe, a southern diner attached to a gas station. It's not a whole lot to look at, but they had the best sweet potato fries I've ever had!

The ops were done after lunch and we were supposed to be done soon after that, but we had to manually assign pairings to over half the field. It took awhile, but we got it all figured out by about 2:30 p.m. When we got home, Debbie and I ironed our uniforms for the week, which has become the norm for Saturday afternoons.

We ate dinner at a host home and they had cornhole and pool. Brett and I challenged Bridget and Tori to a game of cornhole. It lasted for about 30 minutes, but when all was said and done, Brett and I lost by one point. I'm out of practice; just one more reason I can't wait for football season! While we were playing, Tschida and Debbie got chips and starting feeding them to the deer that were just lingering around the neighborhood. #typical
