Day 46: Happy 4th of July!

Got up and right on the road to San Antonio this morning. Thankfully it was just an hour and a half drive because both trucks were full again with six people in one and six in the other. Debbie ended up hopping in the truck bed to try to get all of our luggage to fit. Since Debbie is just 4' 10", she was able to get around the truck bed easier.

When we got to Fair Oaks Ranch, we set up HQ and rode the course. The clubhouse used to be a working ranch with 6,000 acres. It's so big an really pretty! We got to eat off the July 4th BBQ buffet for lunch which was yummy and helped make it feel a little more like the fourth.

We moved our things into our host homes for the week and then headed to the Riverwalk for dinner and fireworks! We ended up at this Mexican place right on the river and walked around for awhile before the fireworks. Debbie, Brett and I got separated from everyone and ended up on top of a 10 story parking deck for fireworks. It was an amazing view! When we got back we went to Bridget and Tori's host home to hang out at their pool. Even though we had to do a little work this morning, it was a great day and a really memorable 4th of July!
Welcome to Fair Oaks Ranch!
The Riverwalk was so pretty!
We found a great spot on top of a 10-story
